OCJ Vacancies 2024:- The Office of the Chief Justice (OCJ) notification issued to accept online applications for the vacant post of Registrar, Law Researcher, Librarian, Provisioning Administration Clerk, Administration Clerk, Security Officer, Handyman. All the candidates who are eligible for the post of Registrar, Law Researcher, Librarian, Provisioning Administration Clerk, Administration Clerk, Security Officer, Handyman are required to fill out the OCJ application forms using the official website portal of Office of the Chief Justice at www.judiciary.org.za.

The OCJ Recruitment authority will accept the registration forms through online mode only. Applications for the Post of Registrar, Law Researcher, Librarian, Provisioning Administration Clerk, Administration Clerk, Security Officer, Handyman vacancies can fill out the applications Form on before 06th-13th September 2024  .

Requirements

Matric certificate and an LLB Degree or a four (4) year legal qualification. A
minimum of three (3) years’ legal experience obtained after qualification. A valid
driver’s license. Superior court or litigation experience will be an added
advantage. Supervisory experience will be an added advantage. Skills and
Competencies: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Planning
and organising skills. Problem solving skills. Numerical skills. Attention to
details. Professionalism. Strong work ethics. Conflict Management skills.
Supervisory skills. Time management and ability to work under pressure. All
shortlisted candidates shall undertake a pre-entry practical exercise as part of
the assessment method to determine the candidate’s suitability based on the
post’s technical and general requirements

02. Position:– Law Researcher

Location: Midrand, Gauteng

Requirements

Matric certificate and an LLB degree or a four year recognised legal
qualification; Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience working in a legal
environment; A valid driver’s licence. Added advantage: Working experience
as a researcher in a training environment; A post graduate qualification in Law;
Experience in conducting empirical research (qualitative and quantitative).
Skills and Competencies: Legal Research and analytical skills; Report writing
and editing skills;

03. Position:– Librarian

Location: Braamfontein, Gauteng

Requirements

Matric certificate and a three (3) year National Diploma/Degree qualification in
library or equivalent relevant qualification at NQF level 6 with 360 credits as
recognized by SAQA. A minimum of 3-year experience as a Librarian.
Knowledge of and experience in legal library environment as well as
understanding comparative research and international legal matters. Computer
Literacy (MS Office, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel & Internet). Report
writing skills, Research and planning skills. Excellent communication skills

04. Position:– Provisioning Administration Clerk

Abet. Added advantage: Matric certificate, a minimum of one year experience
and a valid driver’s licence. Grade C Security Certificate (PSIRA: Grade C. A
minimum of one- year experience in Security Industry. Driver’s License.
